Solution Problem: When I enter them in edit-mode, they seem to disappear in view-mode.

This happens because the edit mode text gets converted to HTML text in View mode. One of the things about the HTML spec is that multiple white spaces get collapsed to a single white space character.

In HTML, there is a way to get around this (by inserting non-breaking spaces, ' ', into your HTML text).

But in Note Studio, there is no such work-around. Multiple spaces will be collapsed to a single white space in view mode.
