I have noticed that after a search the window where you add the text had dissapeared, so I wasn't able to do another search.
Best is probably to report to the support center:

| The Power Seach plugin is not working for me on my Windoze PC. I put it in my plugin directory, rebooted NS, but it doesn't recognize it as a plugin. Help! |

Dave,
the power Search tool is not a "plugin" but a "tool". Have you checked for its presence in the Tools->"Tool panel" rather than in the Tools->plugins list?

Hi,
If it works on windows like it work on Mac. You should have a folder named module in the download. This folder contain lex.py and yacc.py and this folder should also be in the plugin folder. On Mac it solves my problem.

| No, it doesn't show up under the Tools panel. I have placed tool_power_search.py in my plugin directory and I placed the folder called "module" there as well. The module folder contains lex.py and yacc.py |

| Sorry if this seems pedantic, but are you using NoteStudio v3.3? Earlier versions of NoteStudio don't support tools. |

| Yes, I am using NS 3.3 but I am considering uninstalling it and going back to 3.2 until the bugs are worked out. I really need the Recent Changes working again. Some of the enhancements in NS 3.3 are nice to have, but when they break existing functionality, it is not worth it. |

Thanks Piers. What I'm looking for is a complete list. I know for a fact that there are a number of other plugins (like the power search tool) which are not found on DMs site.
BTW, I was told by the developers that the PowerSearch tool is given to registered users. It's strange for me because I AM a registered user :-/. I have it now and it's QUITE useful for me. |

I would send an email to Dogmelon or create a support request and ask them if they can give you the official copy. While you are at it ask them to make it public (they told me that they are considering making it freely available -- but that they were being a little lazy about it . |
