Encrypting Private Data
Do you know what is the biggest security dilemma most people face today? It's a fundamental problem:
- you need to remember a lot of private information, AND
- one of the best ways to remember something is to write it down, BUT
- the really important information is too private to write down!
Think about where this happens in a typical day:
- Banks warn you not to write down your PINs, but you're greatly inconvenienced if you happen to forget them.
- In your workplace, IT staff:
- warn you not to write down your password, BUT
- force you to choose 'hard to guess' passwords which are also - by their very nature - hard to remember
- On the internet, many sites:
- force you to create an account with them before you can use their services, THEN
- expect you to remember that password a year later, when you return (Oh wait, they'll email it to you - in plain text - big security hole).
- For convenience, you start using the same password at 100 different sites (because it's easier than remembering 100 different passwords), BUT
- if someone discovers that single password, they can access ALL your accounts, and effectively steal your online identity.
What about more general private information? Ever been filling out a form? Ever got stuck, because they wanted a detail you
didn't have on you? Ever filled out a form on behalf of your partner? Could you recall their passport number? Social Security
Number?
Or do you keep a diary? There's a reason traditional diaries sometimes have locks (even if they are easy for your brother to pick open with a hair pin). What if your entire diary was encrypted - unreadable by anyone except
you?
Note Studio allows you to store all of your important data, with complete security, in one single place.

With your Laptop Computer or your Palm Pilot, you can carry all this kind of information with you, all of the time, in complete
confidence. And if by some very unfortunate occurence your device goes missing, one small consolation is that all your private
data remains safely encrypted.
Of course, Note Studio uses a proper, robust encryption algorithm. No pretend 'encryption flag', or trivial encryption here.
You'd need a supercomputer and a few spare centuries to attack this encryption. Warning: if you forget your password - we can't recover your data!
