Installation

NoteStudio 2.0.5 can be installed straight over the top of any 2.0.x version.

As a safety precaution, we recommend backing up your library first.

From the library panel, select 'Tools/Plugins/Backup Library'. Select a directory.

As a double-precaution, also back-up your

{palm directory}/username/notestudio directory.

Typically, if your name is Fred Bloggs, this will be at:

C:\Program Files\Palm\BloggsF\notestudio

or

C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\FredB\notestudio

or something similar.

It is assumed by now that all users have upgraded from version 1. If this is not the case, please follow the upgrade instructions at Release 2-0-0 first.

What's new in 2.0.5?

The main theme of this release was further improving the Palm version.

Palm Changes:

• 5 Way navigator support for T3,Zire,Treo 600 etc
• Doesnt power down when scrolling with keys/navigator
• Palm will scroll a page at a time(with 1 line overlap)
• Faster scrolling on the Palm
• High res lock icon on the palm
• Library button on the Palm
• Syntax help via a menu on the Palm
• Delete book on the Palm
• Alphasmart Dana support for the Palm(http://www.alphasmart.com)
• using the T3 slider doesnt force a change into view mode

Conduit changes:

• Conduit will delete a book if it was modified on the same platform it was deleted on

PC Changes:

• "Stay on top" options on the PC
• Edit menu on PC correctly disabled/enabled
