Installation

NoteStudio 2.0.4 can be installed straight over the top of any 2.0.x version.

As a safety precaution, we recommend backing up your library first.

From the library panel, select 'Tools/Plugins/Backup Library'. Select a directory.

As a double-precaution, also back-up your

{palm directory}/username/notestudio directory.

Typically, if your name is Fred Bloggs, this will be at:

C:\Program Files\Palm\BloggsF\notestudio

or

C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\FredB\notestudio

or something similar.

It is assumed by now that all users have upgraded from version 1. If this is not the case, please follow the upgrade instructions at Release 2-0-0 first.

The main theme of this release was improving the Palm version.

• Palm help was completely broken (markup syntax not shown properly). This is fixed.

• Semicolons work on URLs
• Improved book/page encryption logic
• on Palm, don't let them encrypt/decrypt a page if the book is encrypted.
• don't let them encrypt/decrypt a book on the Palm.
• on PC, don't let them encrypt a book while it contains encrypted pages.
• Minor display improvements on the PC.
