I upgraded from Version 2 and can't see the sample books - where are they?

The sample books are on your machine, but you need to link to them.

Why is this? Well, right or wrong, we decided that when they first install 3.0:

• old (2.0) users would want to see their old data
• new users would want to see sample books

So, because you're an old user who is upgrading from 2.0, we haven't set up the Sample books for you. But don't worry, you can do it yourself. Here's how:

The sample books are located at:

'{Note Studio}\install_ds\Sample Books'

• Go to the Library Panel
• Choose "Collection/Link to Collection"
• Enter the following fields:
• Name: Sample Books
• Collection Type: Personal
• Sync to PDA: No
• Location: Browse to the Sample Book location
• Press 'OK'

You should now see the sample books.
